are temperatures right now are in the 40's and low 50's. rain is likely as we head into the evening hours. >> authority say a suspect killed during an officer involved shooting in san jose monday night was trying to ram a police officer with the stolen vehicle. if this is video from our helicopter partnership with abc 7 news. if the shooting was reported just before 7 near story and south white roads. police said officers were following up on an unrelated case when they spotted the vehicle that have been reported stolen. when officers tried to pull over the vehicle, the driver allegedly rammed the police car and attempted to run down officer who had got out of the damage vehicle. >> authority say that

officer who feared for his life had opened fire and the suspect was taken to a local hospital and died. a passenger there was in the car with the suspect is cooperating with authorities. they have not yet identified the driver. >> oakland police chief howard jordan says that he hopes his department's second attempt at reorganizing into smaller districts will be more successful than its first. this past saturday, the department switched from two large police districts to five districts that jordan says will be " smaller and more manageable. been arrested after she crashed a stolen car into a tree in sunnyvale. authority say that around 1:00 a.m. monday, police attempt to stop a vehicle that was driving on el camino riel near sunnyvale saratoga road. however, the car sped off and crashed into a tree a short time later. police determine the car had been reported stolen in the officers apprehended a 60 year-old female driver at the crash scene. two were apprehended a short time later. the fourth passenger still has not been found. >> santa clara county is planning second gun buyback he did this saturday. police offer $100 for each handgun, a shotgun and rifle and $200 for each assault weapon. the buyback is scheduled to run from 8:00 a.m. to noon at the reid-hillview airport in san jose. that is located at

highway 4 and beyond. the sensors are a little bit off. it is bumper to bumper. is not a good route anymore. you are probably better off staying on the westbound ride. major problems are dealing for highway 4 with a multi vehicle accident blocking the two right lanes. look at this drive time. is up to 88 minutes for your ride coming out antioch. it is backed up from 160 all the way to will pass road. there are no good alternate routes. you may want to take 680 to highway 24 off because it will be less traffic. >> here is a look at the bridges. because of the shore problem there is no traffic carli on the bay bridge even though the me realize have been activated.
